About Polly Blok
SEN Consultant and Tutor
Having worked for 23 years in education, as a primary teacher, deputy head and SENCo, I have experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs. I hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination and have attended training on Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Trauma and Attachment among others.

My approach is a holistic one, looking at your child as an individual. Every family and child is unique and therefore all advice is tailored to your situation. I believe that all children can make progress with the right support and understanding.

I provide tuition for children with additional needs, whether they are at school, home educated or under an EOTAS plan and where the needs have created barriers in learning and progress. I have a small classroom for after school or daytime tuition and can also come to schools.
I also work directly with parents and carers whose children may have identified additional needs, or may be just wondering about their child's possible SEN and looking for information and direction. In addition I provide consultancy and training for schools in supporting children with additional needs.
